Ex Update

The situation going on here…

My ex has had a series of strokes over the past few months. This past weekend he had a pretty serious TIA. He was in the hospital for a couple days. CT and MRI shows excessive blockage to the artery leading to his brain. They say it was a severe stroke but he is able to talk and walk and hold conversations. He is just slower and forgetful, but can usually remember with prompting. They don’t do surgery for this anymore (or put in a stent since its above the neck) and have put him on 3 new medications instead. This MAY prevent or delay more serious strokes but the way it is now, he is on a downward spiral. However, he will be starting PT and occupational therapy. There is a very strong chance he will have to go into Assisted Living very soon (not imminently, but within a few months.)

Oh, another big complication is his blood sugar is out of control, his diet is atrocious. Right now he is scared so he’ll comply but he’ll get tired of it and go back to his bad habits.

He is also “Parkinsonian” – has the beginnings of Parkinson’s – but the stroke issue is much more pressing.

If this happens I will have to move. Even if he doesn’t go into Assisted Living we may have to find him a smaller place with no steps leading up to it.

This also puts me in an awkward position because I am not his wife and legally I cannot do anything. Our son is his next of kin. And truthfully (this may sound harsh) but with my own health problems over the past year, I don’t think I can handle it.

If he does go into Assisted Living I will have to find myself a low-income apartment and do the best I can to get this place cleaned out. Which is a mess.

I must admit, I have been struggling a bit with anal toys, which in concerning to me. It hasn’t been all that long since I played anally. I should be “open”. I wonder if they used something after my colonoscopy to tighten things back up somewhat.

But I digress. This toy is a beautiful set! They come packaged very nicely, settled in their own special compartment. The crystal butt plug is clear. They can be heated up or put in a refrigerator to chill. Either way they make sensation play more fun.

Mood

My mood tanked about 2 weeks ago.

I was decent this past week, but Friday my mood started to darken again.

I have been very irritable and I feel on the verge of tears much of the time. I think I am frustrated about everything – I still feel stuck with my ex, my health hasn’t been the best since Christmas, money is always a problem, I haven’t written anything of substance in a while, I miss my guy…

I think most of all I am tired of taking pills and eye drops. Pills an hour before meals, in the morning, at night; two different eye drops three times a day. All together I take about 35 individual pills a day.

I went yesterday and got my nipples pierced, hoping to assuage the mental health gods. Usually a piercing or tattoo or new hair color gives me an adrenaline boost. Not this time.

I need to do something, but I don’t know what. I wish I could go see my guy; maybe some good sex would help.

I think I’m lonely too.

TOY TEST – Sensivo Thrusting Vibrator

This toy had a lot of potential. Unfortunately it did not live up to them.

It is outwardly a nice toy. Over 4.5” insertable, with heat/warming features, it was supposed to thrust into you. However the warming was barely felt, even though it offered two different settings for heat, and the thrusting power was lackluster.

The vibration was the only saving grace on this toy and the only thing that made me want to use it as long as I did. It was supposed to have 12 different patterns of vibration, but none of them had much strength to them.

The physical features too were uninspired. There wasn’t much veining to it and the accordion pleats made it hard to clean. The remote was easy to use, however.

Overall I give this toy a meh 3 stars. It would be much better with a stronger vibration motor and more thrusting power. While it says it is an anal toy, I did use it vaginally. I do not think using it anally would make a difference, and perhaps it would even bring the score down further since the anus is much tighter and would restrict even further the puny motions.
