I’m an introverted extrovert. I want to be outgoing, but am scared to be. I have been shot down so many times in the past. People think I am introverted because I don’t go to parties, etc. – but I don’t get invited to the parties in the first place! I have been in clubs and even the leader of clubs only to have membership and activity drop while I was leader. It’s hard to feel confident when things like this happen, so I just try not to get too engaged, for fear it’ll happen again. I want people to like me, but it just seems they don’t give me a chance.
Which may be why I have a MM. I thrive on the attention he shows me.
